I graduated from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (dip ION) where I studied the latest in evidence-based nutrition. I am a member of the professional association BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and I’m also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, UK.
My goal is to help clients achieve optimum health and wellness.
Nutritional therapy uses an integrated approach to identify the root cause of imbalances considering dietary, genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors. It focuses on creating a tailored nutrition and lifestyle programme, addressing the body as a whole and all of us as individuals, rather than relying on a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
In a typical consultation, I will assess my client’s general health, family and health history, dietary habits, digestive function and lifestyle. I will then devise a dietary and lifestyle plan suitable for the individual’s circumstances and health objectives, including personalised dietary strategies, lifestyle changes and food or supplement recommendations.
I encourage and support my clients to make positive and meaningful changes to their health without being overly restrictive. I work alongside other qualified practitioners to help my clients achieve these goals.
